The carrier for the stage where your toddler wants down, then up, then down again. Unclip the body panel and the hip seat stays on your waist, ready for the next twenty seconds of being carried.

Why it works
- Two carriers in one. Full carrier with the panel attached, bare hip seat without it: no changing gear mid-walk.
- Structured hip seat. A firm, slightly angled shelf that takes the weight off your arms and lower back.
- Wide supportive waistband. Spreads the load across your hips rather than hanging it off your shoulders.
- 7 to 45 lbs. A newborn position at the bottom of the range and enough structure for a heavy toddler at the top.
- Storage built in. A zip pocket in the waistband, which is where your phone and keys end up anyway.

Babywearing safely
Keep your baby’s face visible and their chin off their chest. Use the newborn position until they have steady head and neck control. Check the buckles every time you put it on, never use a carrier in a moving vehicle, and never leave your baby unattended in it. Follow the instructions and weight limits supplied with the carrier, and check with your pediatrician before babywearing a premature or low birth weight baby.
Common questions
Cotton or air mesh?
Air mesh if you are mostly carrying in warm weather; cotton if you want something that looks a bit less technical.
Can I use the hip seat on its own with a newborn?
No. Use the full carrier with the newborn position until your baby can sit unsupported. The bare hip seat is for older babies and toddlers.
Does it work for back carrying?
Yes, once your baby has solid trunk control. Practice the first few times with another adult present.
