Why it works

Two jobs, one bra. Drop clips for feeding, stretch openings for pumping. You choose per session instead of choosing when you get dressed.

Feeding and pumping in the same garment

To feed, unclip the strap and drop the cup. To pump, leave the straps done up and push the flanges through the stretch openings instead. The openings are cut to grip the shields rather than just being a hole in the fabric, so the flanges stay square while you sit.

Most people find it earns its place in the weeks where feeding and pumping are mixed together: a session at the breast, a session on the pump, a bottle for someone else to give. That is the stage this bra is for.

Finding your size

There is no measurement table on this page. We don't have measurements for this bra that we can stand behind, and we would rather leave the table out than make one up. Sizes run as listed, S to 2XL.

Between two sizes, take the larger one. The stretch openings need slack to work, and a band that is already tight has nothing left to give when the flanges go in. Size exchanges are free, so if the band sits wrong, send it back and we'll swap it.

Who it is not for

A bra that does two things does neither quite as single-mindedly as a bra that does one. If you pump almost exclusively and want the firmest possible hold on the flanges, the Hands-Free Pumping Bra is built for that alone. If you barely pump at all, the Cloudline or Jelly Strip nursing bras are simpler and softer.

Common questions

Do the openings gape after a few weeks?
The knit is chosen to pull back, and it does, but no fabric is immortal. Washing cold and skipping the softener is most of what keeps it recovering.

Will it hold a wearable pump?
It takes in-bra cups as well as standard flanges. As with any bra, the heavier the cup the more the band matters, so don't size up beyond your fit.

Can I sleep in it?
It is wire-free, so yes, though it is a slightly more structured bra than a plain nursing one.

What if I order the wrong size?
Send it back within 30 days. Size exchanges are free.

Where it doesn't, it is because we don't have numbers from the maker that we can stand behind, and we would rather say so than publish a table we invented.

Orders are packed in 1-2 business days and typically arrive 3-7 business days after that, so most orders land inside a fortnight of ordering and often sooner. Shipping in the US is free over $50.

If you are ordering for a due date, order earlier than feels necessary. Babies are famously bad at reading calendars, and a belly band that arrives after the birth helps nobody.

You have 30 days to return anything unworn, with the tags on. Size exchanges are free: you don't pay to swap a size you guessed wrong.

Roughly by stage. Belly bands and pregnancy pillows are for the months before. Nursing and pumping bras, belly wraps and breast pads are for after. High-waist briefs and a nursing bra are the two things people tend to use on both sides of the birth.

Every product page has a "Who it is not for" section or an equivalent, and they mean it. If two products look like they overlap, the page for each says which job the other one does better.

We are not able to give medical advice, and we are not going to pretend otherwise on a product page. Support garments should feel like support, never like compression, and nothing here should hurt. If it does, take it off.

After a caesarean, wait until your doctor or midwife has cleared you for abdominal support before wearing a wrap or a band, and stop if anything pulls at the incision. If you have a high-risk pregnancy or any complication, ask them first. They know your situation and a website does not.
