Why it works

Over-bump waistband. Tall, wide and soft, so it sits above the bump rather than rolling down underneath it. No elastic biting across the middle.
Ventilated panel. A knitted mesh section through the waist lets air move, which you will appreciate in the third trimester.
Seamless. Knitted in one piece with no side seams, so nothing prints through leggings.

Wearing them through pregnancy and after

Most people start once regular underwear begins to cut in, somewhere in the second trimester, and pull the waistband up over the bump from then on. The band is meant to sit smooth and flat against you. If it is rolling down, the size is too small; if it is sagging, it is too big.

Afterwards, high-waist briefs are usually the easiest thing to wear, whether you had a vaginal birth or a caesarean, because nothing sits on the tender part. Everyone heals differently and we're not able to give medical advice, so if you had a C-section or any complication, check with your doctor or midwife about what to wear and when.

Finding your size

There is no measurement table on this page. We don't have measurements for these that we can stand behind, and we'd rather say so than publish invented numbers. Sizes run as listed, M to 3XL, and they are sold in three-color packs.

Size on your pre-pregnancy size rather than trying to guess how big the bump will get. The waistband is built to expand. Between two sizes, take the larger one: these are meant to be a smooth layer, not compression. Size exchanges are free.

Who it is not for

These are comfortable everyday underwear with a supportive waistband. They are not a shaping garment, not a postpartum binder and not a substitute for one. Common questions

Will they show under leggings?
They are seamless and cut high, so there is no edge across the hip to print through. The waistband sits above where most leggings end.

Can I wear them after a C-section?
A lot of people do, because the waistband sits well above the usual incision line and nothing presses on it. Wait until you have been cleared, stop if anything pulls, and ask your doctor or midwife if you are unsure. We're not able to give medical advice.

Do all three pairs come in the same size?
Yes. You choose one size and one color combination, and all three pairs match it.

What if the size is wrong?
Send the pack back within 30 days and we'll exchange it. Size exchanges are free.

Questions we get a lot

Take the larger one. Almost everything here is worn on a body that is still changing, and a garment with a little room stays wearable for months longer than one that fits perfectly today. Where a product has a measurement table, use it. Where it doesn't, it is because we don't have numbers from the maker that we can stand behind, and we would rather say so than publish a table we invented.

Orders are packed in 1-2 business days and typically arrive 3-7 business days after that, so most orders land inside a fortnight of ordering and often sooner. Shipping in the US is free over $50.

If you are ordering for a due date, order earlier than feels necessary. Babies are famously bad at reading calendars, and a belly band that arrives after the birth helps nobody.

You have 30 days to return anything unworn, with the tags on. Size exchanges are free: you don't pay to swap a size you guessed wrong.

Roughly by stage. Belly bands and pregnancy pillows are for the months before. Nursing and pumping bras, belly wraps and breast pads are for after. High-waist briefs and a nursing bra are the two things people tend to use on both sides of the birth.

Every product page has a "Who it is not for" section or an equivalent, and they mean it. If two products look like they overlap, the page for each says which job the other one does better.

We are not able to give medical advice, and we are not going to pretend otherwise on a product page. Support garments should feel like support, never like compression, and nothing here should hurt. If it does, take it off.

After a caesarean, wait until your doctor or midwife has cleared you for abdominal support before wearing a wrap or a band, and stop if anything pulls at the incision. If you have a high-risk pregnancy or any complication, ask them first. They know your situation and a website does not.
